CWP launches The Year of the Writer with 35 minutes of writing—in Summer Institutes, open programs, online networks, writing courses— in honor of the 35th Anniversary

Scholastic Writing Awards
CWP is partnering with the Alliance for Young Artists and Writers to sponsor an opportunity for students in grades 7-12 to submit their writing for recognition, state and national awards, publication, and scholarships for graduating seniors. As the California affiliate, CWP will be posting program and submission information for students, parents, and teachers in August and September.
